The Gold Coast Branch of the Australian Hibiscus Society Inc., meets on the 1st Sunday of the Month, at the Helensvale Community Centre, Discovery Drive, Helensvale, commencing at 1.30 pm, interesting displays of blooms and judging of same, followed by afternoon tea, and a friendly get together.
The first Sunday in December is reserved for the Christmas Party, and there is no meeting at the hall.

The Gold Coast Branch held their Annual meeting on the 6th July 2008 at the above address and the same Executive Members were re-elected for the next 12 months. Congratulations for a job well done and may the next 12 months be as rewarding.
The Trophy winners and the winning blooms at the meeting are displayed below for your pleasure.
The Judge for the day was John Richardson.

Milo & Leonne Courtenay being presented with their Val & Vic Gilbert Trophy for Collectors Class by Brian Cheers.

Brian Cheers presented the Hazel Cumming Trophy for Miniature Class to Milo & Leonne Courtenay.

Milo & Leonne Courtenay won the 2 of a Kind Trophy.

Brian Cheers presented the G & J Lindsay Trophy for Miniature Seedlings to Jim & Ruth Purdie.

Milo & Leonne Courtenay won the Waterman Shield for Champion Exhibitor of the Year.

Fred Westerman won the Bert & Phyllis Hardy Perpetual Trophy for Champion Seedling, but he was not present to be presented with his Trophy.
