INTRODUCTION
As the appointed International Registration Authority, for H. rosa-sinensis it has been a strong ambition to offer the Hibiscus register 
so that it can be readily available to all, universally & this is the first attempt at such a project, utilizing the internet as a valuable vehicle
.The Australian Hibiscus Society Inc. is the appointed International Cultivar Registration Authority & Brian Cheers has been appointed 
as the International Cultivar Registration Authority Registrar. Being Sanctioned by the International Society For Horticultural Science. 

There is a New CD register/checklist available that contains a searchable database with 8726 records and 
2747 full bloom photographs.

Although it is my responsibility to accurately record data pertaining to all Hibiscus rosa-sinensis Cultivars & freely redistribute this information.
I am, in effect, simply a "Recorder".
The greater credit, for this hard earned data submission & co-operation goes to the members of the Australian Hibiscus Society Inc.,  American Hibiscus Society,  International Hibiscus Society, Hibiscus fanciers, hybridises & collectors universally. The format I have elected to use here is a static display & the limited screen page width, which unfortunately  restricts the number of fields to only six across.

The fields chosen are, reading from left to right, Cultivar, Mother, Father, Hybridiser, Grower, Origin.

There is no form of copyright on these pages or the contents .
The data may be copied, transcribed, published in any form you so wish, in part or full without permission.
Those that do so, & publicly display the data are obliged to give reference & credit to all Bodies & Institutions  so mentioned above & within the body of data so displayed.
The data within shall not be sold, resold or traded for profit or exchange without prior written permission from the ICRA Hibiscus  
Updates are processed as required.. If the need arises, updates can be instigated as requested.
This will be your indicator for comparisons to your earlier printouts & file recordings. The database has been sorted Alphabetically under the Cultivar  field & has been designed with simplicity & clarity in mind.
An alphabetical "Card Index System" being employed with each letter of the alphabet linked to its own corresponding button & subsequent page. Your co-operation in maintaining accuracy within this Register is paramount.
Please feel free to offer your opinions on data submitted or omitted & we will maintain accurate records for all to enjoy now & in the future. Please Note: Some Cultivars currently recorded in this database DO NOT comply with the Code of registration & will in time be rectified.
